here are some activities to do together for each month! 

01 January 

new year for all 

you will need:

  • poster paper

  • assorted colored markers 

lets get going:

  1. with the pair have each person create a list of New Years goals, dreams, hope etc. with their own designated color 

  2. decorate the paper in any way and put it in a place where everyone can see like (ex. hallways, door wall)

  3. as time goes on check off the ones you've accomplished

  4. don't forget to have fun!

02/ February 

sweet heart valentines letters 

you will need:

  • assorted colored paper

  • assorted colored pens

  • scissors 

lets get going:

  1. cut pieces of paper into heart shape or any shape of your choice

  2. write a sweet love letter to sho your appreciate to someone or everyone

  3. decorate it with stickers, designs, however you want to personalize it

  4. don't forget to have fun!

03/ March 

spring colors 

you will need:

  • coffee filters

  • black perment marker

  • a cup of water filled half way

  • scissors

lets get going:

  1. cut a hole in the middle of the coffee filter

  2. draw a circle of any design around the opening leaving a 1 inch of space

  3. cut the im edge of coffee filter for it to fit on the cup of water but save the scraps

  4. with the scrap rot the remains piece into a stick wick like shape long and thick enough to fit in the cut opening hole

  5. stick the wick in the opening and place the entire big on top of the glass where the stick touches almost submerged in water halfway

  6. wait and watch the colors paper as they spread throguhout

  7. don't forget to have fun! 

04/ April

raining day staying in bowling

you will need:

  • bottles or cans

  • weighted enough ball

lets get going:

  1. set up pins with cans or bottles in desired placement

  2. one at a time each person will bowl twice setting up the minds for the next person when done

  3. keeping count of how many pins each person knocks down in each round

  4. after 10 rouds whoever knocked down the most pins win

  5. don't forget to have fun!

05/ May

take in some air

you will need:

  • ready walkers

  • good weather

lets get going:

  1. in the afternoon, after dinner, morning, anytime grab everyone na make sure they are dresses to go for a walk

  2. take a walk together to the park, around the box or on a trail enjoy the the fresh air for a while

  3. don't forget to have fun!

06/ June

summer sail away

you will need:

  • a tub/ bucket of water

  • tin foil 

  • pennies/ pebbles any light weight 

lets get going:

  1. each person builds their own tin foil boat given the same amount size sheet shaping however long, wide etc.

  2. place all boats on top of the water

  3. placing one penny/ pebbles at a time in the boat until it sinks

  4. count to see who has the most pennies to declare the winner

  5. don't forget to have fun!

07/ July

bright lights

you will need:

  • paper bags

  • hole punchers

  • pencil

  • small led lights

lets get going:

  1. with the paper bag trace a shape design anything your heart desires

  2. following the lines punch to holes using a hole puncher or pencil to poke through

  3. onece completed place a small led light at the bottom of the bg letting the light shine through 

  4. don't forget to have fun!

08/ August

fluffy cloud indulge

you will need:

  • a day with clouds in the sky

  • blankets

  • anything for laying comfortably

lets get going:

  1. at a park, backyard anywhere outside place your blanket on the ground for laying

  2. look up at the sky together and detect what you see

  3. look for types of clouds, funny shapes, animals or anything eye catching

  4. don't forget to have fun!

09/ September 

have this dance

you will need:

  • music to play

  • an open area

  • dancing shoes ready

lets get going:

  1. grab everyone and be ready to dance

  2. play your favorite tunes, playlist soundtracks 

  3. get moving and start doing to the rythm together having a mini dance party 

  4. don't forget to have fun! 

10/ October

spooky night

you will need:

  • blanket

  • chairs

  • flashlights/ light of any sort

  • pillows

lets get going:

  1. build a comfy fort in an open area using chairs, blankets and pillows 

  2. turn off any big lights turning on little lights 

  3. with everyone in a circle taking turns going around one person will say a sentence

  4. taking turns until everyone has gone twice en the story with the last person with a conclusion and a cozy story

  5. don't forget to have fun! 

11/ November 

leaf art prints

you will need:

  • leaves

  • paper

  • acrylic or fabric paint

  • paint brushes

  • mat or newspaper

lets get going:

  1. collect leaves of different shapes and sizes

  2. place a mat or newspaper for your work area and place paper on top

  3. with your paint take one leaf and paint one side of it

  4. press he leaf onto the paper firmly until the paint has transferred 

  5. removes the leaf to reveal print 

  6. continues until your paper is filled with different colored sized leaf prints

  7. don't forget to have fun!

12/ December

frosty 10 Pictionary

you will need:

  • poster paper

  • assorted colorful markers

lets get going:

  1. place poster paper on a flat surface or tape on wall

  2. start out by drawing the base of the snowman

  3. one by one taking tuns each person will draw a random piece of clothing, object design anything the choice is yours

  4. after 10 rounds and the last person is finished take a set back and look at what you all have created for your snowman

  5. don't forget to have fun!
